Most of us probably know that Pentium microprocessor chips play a vital role in the speed and performance of a computer. The first Pentium chip was invented in 1993 by Vinod Dham, a technologist of Indian origin. Dham was working at Intel when he and his team developed the Pentium chip. Now, the world knows him as the father of Pentium processors.
Ajay V Bhatt - the father of the USB
Ajay V. Bhatt is an Indian-born American computer architect who defined and developed several widely used technologies, including USB (Universal Serial Bus), AGP (Accelerated Graphics Port), PCI Express, Platform Power Management architecture and various chipset improvements.
In 1978, a 14-year-old named V.A. Shiva Ayyadurai developed a computer program, which replicated the features of the interoffice, inter-organizational paper mail system. He named his program “EMAIL”, an accomplishment that would, in time, change the course of human communication. More about him here
