The Hour of Code started as a one-hour introduction to computer science, designed to demystify "code", to show that anybody can learn the basics, and to broaden participation in the field of computer science. It has since become a worldwide effort to celebrate computer science, starting with 1-hour coding activities but expanding to all sorts of community efforts. This grassroots campaign is organized in over 40 countries globally.

Of course. You only have to enroll in the program. On enrolment, you will be assigned a mentor from the IT industry. the mentor will conduct an orientation for your students and teachers and will guide the school throughout the process.

My school does not have internet access. How can I participate?
Rest assured, we will provide 3G internet hotspots at your campus to ensure all your students get equal access to the program.
No. We have Hour of Code tutorials that work on PCs, smartphones, tablets, and some that require no computer at all! You can join wherever you are, with whatever you have.
